She founded the practice in 1998 as a paramedical tattooing studio in Calabasas and has built her reputation on meticulous artistry — a deep understanding of eyebrow structure, hair growth patterns, facial balance, ethnicity, and shape design.

Dr. Charles Peterson is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with nearly a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine. As Medical Director for multiple medical spas throughout California, he has dedicated much of his career to advancing safe, effective, and evidence-based aesthetic treatments.

Born and raised in California, he continues to practice in the state he proudly calls home. Based in Los Angeles, Dr. Peterson is the founder and Medical Director of Swissa Med Spa, where patient-centered care, natural results, and clinical excellence remain at the forefront of every plan.

While he appreciates the artistry and precision of lip augmentation, his true passion lies in comprehensive facial balancing — creating harmonious, natural-looking results that enhance each patient's unique features. He believes aesthetic medicine is most rewarding when it blends science, artistry, and individualized treatment planning.

Orr Swissa-Amran is a board-certified Physician Associate. She earned her undergraduate degree at UCLA before completing a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Mercy University in New York, followed by a competitive surgical residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center.

Her specialized training in eyebrow hair transplantation was completed under the supervision of Dr. Charles Peterson, and she has continued her education with international training in South Korea focused on hair restoration and aesthetic medicine.

At Swissa Med Spa, Orr handles the day-to-day medical execution of the eyebrow hair transplant program — graft handling, recipient site creation, and surgical assistance — as well as injectable, regenerative, and wellness consultations across the practice.

At consultation, expect detailed answers, careful examination, and a treatment plan tailored to your goals rather than a packaged recommendation. She will explain a procedure fully — including the reasons not to do it — before any decision is made.
